Radio Frequency technology works by heating up the skin, the dermis in particular, to approximately 42 degrees using a treatment head with 3 or more poles emitting radio frequency waves. Overall, this results in a reduction of wrinkles, sagging skin and fine lines.
This anti-ageing facial treatment is suitable for anyone, male or female who wishes to plump and tighten the face. It is also effective for the neck and décolletage, and can be combined with ultrasonic cavitation treatment on the body to tighten loose skin following fat loss.
It is not suitable during pregnancy, or for clients who have any metal implants/screws in the areas being treated.
Many patients can see and feel results after their first treatment, but these will be short lived, so a course of 6 treatments is recommended (once per week) to build up your collagen levels. You can then have top-up facials once every few months to keep your skin looking tight and feeling plump. The number of sessions required can vary depending on factors such as age, skin type, sun damage and visibility of lines and wrinkles. If you have particularly wrinkled or loose skin, you will probably want to have more than 6 treatments.
